We are currently looking for a Total Customer Satisfaction Engineering Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN. This position will support our Quality Audit and Compliance team (QAC).

A Day in the Life:   

  • Lead and manage Recurrent Prevention Activities (RPA) in response to recalls, campaigns, or countermeasures.
    • Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Track and report effectiveness of countermeasures.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Standards across US and Mexico manufacturing plants.
    • Conduct Second Tier audits to verify adherence.
    • Collaborate with other plants to share best practices and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee and maintain the VES (Vehicle Evaluation Standard) program.
    • Ensure plant quality standards meet global benchmarks.
    • Measure and assess VES scores; report findings to Japan.
  • Continuously monitor Voice of the Customer (VOC) and warranty survey data.
    • Analyze correlation between VES scores and VOC feedback.
    • Present insights and recommendations to drive quality improvements.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Engineering.
  • Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
  • Estimated travel required: up to 10% to other Nissan locations.
  • Ability to perform work onsite at Nissan North America Headquarters – Franklin, TN.
