JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Office of Investment Management (OIM) has a part time paid internship opportunity beginning in the Fall 2025 semester.  The internship is open to any current Penn State student with any academic major.  If you have a desire to learn about institutional investing, this internship position will provide a solid foundation for multiple career paths.

Internships during the academic year are expected to be 5-10 hours per week and offer flexible work arrangements, such as in office, remote, or hybrid work opportunities.  Interns will be considered part time employees.  Individuals are expected to work independently and collaboratively with other interns and OIM team members.  Specific responsibilities will depend on the current priorities for OIM.

Please note that a resume and cover letter are required as part of this application. All application materials must be uploaded at the time of application, as you will not be able to update your application once you hit submit. Your cover letter should explain in some detail why you are interested in an internship, what you would like to learn and accomplish during the internship, and any specific areas of interest that you would like to concentrate on during the internship.
