Job Description

The Technical services Team works around the clock on utilities and infrastructure systems to maximize performance and availability. Through a combination of preventative and corrective maintenance they ensure these systems operate as intended, and when they don't, they're returned to service as soon as possible.

This role is specifically tailored to the Gigafactory Berlin industrial wastewater treatment plant. You will assist in the daily operations of the wastewater treatment plant, including sampling, testing, and monitoring of wastewater processes. You will work closely with our experienced staff to gain a comprehensive understanding of wastewater treatment principles, regulations, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection and analysis of wastewater samples, including pH, temperature, and other water quality parameters
  • Monitor and record wastewater treatment process data, including flow rates, chemical dosing, and treatment efficiency
  • Assist in the implementation of wastewater treatment plant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct research and gather data on wastewater treatment technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as laboratory and maintenance, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or engineers.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of wastewater treatment principles and processes
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment, including water quality testing and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • German and English Knowledge
