About the RoleOur Investment Banking team based in Madrid covers the Iberian region with a generalist focus both in term of industries and products, in close coordination with sector and product teams across the globe.The Evercore Off-Cycle Analyst Program is a 6-month programme designed to provide a highly motivated person with a representative experience of an analyst. The Madrid team is seeking intelligent, mature individuals with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job.Primary ResponsibilitiesOff-Cycle Interns are highly motivated individuals and are expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously and exhibit a strong motivation to learn and work diligentlyOff-Cycle Interns will work on a variety of assignments including private and public M&A, capital raising and capital structure mandates as well as client pitchingOff-cycle Interns at Evercore gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skillsAnalysis of company accounts, profit & loss and cash flow informationInterpretation of complex financial informationPreparation of detailed financial presentationsCompany research and maintenance of current and accurate financial dataIndependently manage certain aspects of transaction processes and marketing material preparationLiaising with Evercore’s industry and product teams Skills & Experience:Strong quantitative and technical abilitiesStrong communication, multi-tasking and time management skillsOutstanding academic recordDrive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills with passion for continued learingFluent Spanish and English speakerNeed to have graduated from a Bachelor´s and/or Master´s DegreeStrong interest in the Iberian marketPrior investment banking experience will be valued but is not a pre-requisite
