Application Deadline: 5th December 2025 As part of the Machine Learning Platform Technology SRE Team, you will be directly responsible for the infrastructure that powers Siri, search, and other high-impact user-facing solutions running on millions of Apple devices worldwide. You will have the opportunity to explore, support and improve a wide variety of exciting projects and help craft the future of how we build and run our services with a huge impact on a global scale.

Description

This position forms part of a team operating global services, handling the requests of hundreds of millions of Apple customers. This kind of scale presents unique challenges. As a Site Reliability Engineer Intern in our team, you will work on projects to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of a 24/7 global service. You will be a part of a geographically distributed SRE teams and collaborate with your colleagues in multiple Apple offices. You must also feel comfortable collaborating and communicating with all our partners and teams at Apple (development, business, etc.). You and your Mentor will be helping with automating tasks and independently solving technical issues while working with scripting languages and infrastructure tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent experience is also considered.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or others.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience dealing with ambiguity & developing strategic agility
  • A high level of attention to detail, interpersonal savvy and, strong verbal and written communication skills
