The internship will take place June 1st-August 7th 2026. Interns will be scheduled to work 20-30 hours per week, Mon-Fri business hours. This is an on-site role requiring the ability to work at locations throughout the Greater Charlotte area.

Pay Range

$20.00 - $20.00

We are looking for a creative and forward-thinking Innovation Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about emerging technologies, design thinking, and problem-solving. As an intern, you’ll collaborate on strategic projects, explore new ideas, and help shape the future of our products, services, or internal processes.

Major Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes
• Assist in brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops
• Support the development of prototypes, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives
• Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the impact of innovation projects
• Help prepare presentations and reports for leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new business opportunities
• Document findings, insights, and recommendations
• Gain hands-on experience in innovation strategy and execution
• Learn how to apply design thinking and agile methodologies
• Develop skills in research, prototyping, and stakeholder engagement
• Build a portfolio of impactful projects and ideas
• Receive mentorship from experienced innovation leaders

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

• None Required.

Education Required:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university. Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.
• Grade point average of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
• Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.

• Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
