We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our Infrastructure team from May to August of 2026!

Our Summer Intern Program is designed to support the development of students and recent graduates for future positions by offering one-on-one mentoring, peer and experiential learning, internal training programs, and much more. We are currently accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s level students or recent graduates seeking the opportunity to work in the investment management space. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, Infrastructure, the Infrastructure Intern will learn about the infrastructure portfolio, and help through various initiatives and analysis to support decision making.  This role is highly project oriented in nature and includes daily contact with Investment team members and IMCO employees.

Responsibilities Include:

  • In-depth research of infrastructure assets, sectors, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Financial modeling and valuation of global infrastructure assets.
  • Create database of precedent transactions organized by sector and geography to show evolution of transaction multiples.
  • Support due diligence on potential transactions.
  • Participate in development of asset management initiatives.
  • Prepare marketing materials, business development and client services support.
  • Provide support on investment performance reporting.
  • Help to produce meaningful analyses, reports or presentations that outline findings and recommendations.

What do you need to succeed?

  • You are a self-starter and have the willingness to learn about investments.
  • Ability to review, analyze and present data.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to interact confidently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to sort through and identify key information.
  • Highly driven, autonomous team player with a strong work ethic, ability, and willingness to manage & deliver multiple deliverables concurrently.
  • Commitment to impartiality, ethics, and integrity.
  • Must have: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Completion of a statistics course is preferred.
