Job Description
What you will do
Working under supervising professional engineers, you will make an impact by:
- Participating in field data collection
- Performing engineering analyses and design of coastal and marine structures
- Assisting with the preparation of project deliverables including technical reports, calculations, cost estimates, specifications and drawings
- Assisting with the construction administration tasks for projects for active projects

Qualifications
What you bring:
Required:
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student standing in an ABET-accredited engineering program specializing in civil, coastal, ocean or environmental engineering
- Demonstrates a genuine interest in coastal systems and a commitment to protecting and enhancing our natural coastal and marine environments
- Experience with or willingness to learn GIS software
- Experience with or willingness to learn programming with MATLAB and/or Python
Preferred:
- Previous intern experience with an engineering consulting firm
- Working knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD
