TheGM Summer Associateprogramoffersan hourly rateof$55.00.If eligible, a relocation stipend is offeredin the amount of$5,000. Students must belocated50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.Please note thatGM Summer Associatesare required tohave a reliable mode of transportation to and from their assigned work locationfor the duration of theirSummer with us.
What We Look For
Academic Background & Work Experience:
MBAstudent completingtheirdegreebetweenDecember 2027 – June 2028with an Undergraduate degree in one of the following: Business, Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field of study.
3+yearswork experience post-Undergraduate degree – ideally gained in large, forward-thinking, global organizations. Experience in Life Sciences or STEM-related industryrequired.
1+yearsexperiencemanaging direct reports.
Leadership Profile:
Proven leadership experiencewithatrack recordof influencing others, leading initiatives, driving results, and creating positive impact within teams and organizations.
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
Evidence of grit, resilience, and perseverance when facing challenges, setbacks, or competing priorities.
Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and aninnovative mindset.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
Geographic mobility and flexibilityrequiredto pursue internship and future career opportunities in locations aligned with business needs.
Onsite and in-office work is an essential function of this role and isrequiredthroughout the program and in future placements to support collaboration across businesses, functions, and locations.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $50.00–$65.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
