Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with family caregivers visiting the center, providing emotional support and a listening ear.
- Offer community referrals and connect caregivers with hospital resources tailored to their needs.
- Assist families in navigating the healthcare system with compassion and understanding.
- Conduct outreach to medical floors and waiting areas to introduce caregivers to the center’s services.
- Help plan and organize caregiver support groups and community outreach initiatives.
- Serve as a supportive presence in the center, ensuring it remains a quiet and comforting space for families.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026
- Nursing, Social Work, or Psychology students preferred
