Position Overview:

Beam is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Clinical Operations Co-op to join our Clinical Operations team for the period of January through June 2026. Beam’s Co-op Program offers exceptional undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience, practical exposure, and professional mentorship. Our co-op program is structured to provide meaningful learning experiences that support professional goals and foster personal development. In addition to technical and professional growth, these programs focus on advancing industry knowledge and soft skills. Our co-op program is carefully designed to align student learning objectives with the strategic needs of the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support document management activities by maintaining the Trial Master File (TMF) in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Support regulatory compliance through site level IRB submissions.
  • Liaise among internal cross-functional stakeholders, investigative sites, and external vendors, both within the US and abroad.
  • Coordinate meetings, assist with preparing and distributing meeting minutes, help track and resolve open action items.
  • Support data entry and database management by tracking study participant samples, ensuring accuracy in the Electronic Data Capture (EDC), and assisting with database-related tasks such as study materials shipment requests.

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a BS or MS in Health or Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience working in a laboratory or hospital setting is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, have excellent time management skills, and be organized and flexible. 
  • Candidates should also prioritize strategic thinking and creative problem-solving, and be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-shifting environment.
  • Position requires being on site 4-5 days per week.
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree-granting college or university program and maintain their student status throughout the duration of the co-op to be eligible.
