How will you make an impact?
Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.
Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of prioritized innovation projects in areas such as media development, cell line engineering, and high-throughput screening.
- Draft experimental study plans under the mentorship of a senior scientist to define objectives, methods, and success criteria.
- Conduct laboratory experiments using established protocols, detailing procedures and data in accordance with good scientific practices.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results; summarize findings in clear and concise reports.
- Share interim and final project results with the scientific team and collaborators via slide decks and verbal updates.
- Contribute to scientific discussions in project and team meetings by asking questions, offering insights, and incorporating feedback.
- Support related R&D efforts by assisting in small-scale experiments or side projects led by other scientists.
- Participate in weekly check-ins and site events to integrate with the broader team and develop communication and collaboration skills.
Internship starts May 11th or June 15th, 2026, lasting 10-12 weeks based on student schedules.
Compensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate Human Resources internships offer an hourly rate between $18.50 - $38.50 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.
How will you get here?
- Undergraduate, upperclassmen, or Master's student completing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field between December 2026 and June 2027.
- 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
- Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
- Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position Intern II based inCalifornia is $14.75–$55.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
