Capital Markets at JLL equips our clients with the strategic advice they need to create a world of opportunity to enhance their economic interest in real estate.Members of the Capital Markets team drive investments and acquisitions through analyzing the markets to see what the biggest impact for our clients would be.
Job Summary
This position will provide assistance to our analysts by doing research, writing, and analyzing property and market information.
As a Summer Intern in Capital Markets at JLL, you will perform the following:
Complete and present an individual case study that will entail the valuation of a property assigned to the intern.
Attend weekly “Lunch & Learns” to learn about the teams and assets classes within Capital Markets and the various overall business lines at JLL.
Attend daily and weekly in-person training sessions with a Capital Markets team member to learn how to build a 10- year cash flow and value a commercial real estate property.
Rotate through the five Capital Markets teams, including investment sales and debt, and help with various tasks as assigned such as the following:
Assist with rent rolls, operating expense analysis, tenant profiles, etc.;
Prepare and write market and location overviews;
Obtainand analyze market information, such as vacancy rates, net absorption, demographics, traffic counts, sale and lease comparables, etc.;
Assist in the marketing and due diligence processes;
Review and summarize leases (lease abstracting);
Assist in the design and preparation of teasers and offering memorandums;
Create appropriate charts and other graphic materials;
Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
Currently enrolled in a college/university, graduating in 2027
Strong analytical and writing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to interact with internal and external clients professionally in a fast paced, high-energy environment
Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude
Intermediate working knowledge of Word and Excel
Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe, InDesign, or Photoshop is a plus but not required.

Estimated compensation for this position:
8,800.00 – 9,600.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
