About This Job
Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between one of two sessions.Session 1: May 27 - August 14
Session 2: June 17 - September 4
As a Commercial Underwriting Intern, you will spend your summer working alongside a credit underwriting team that covers most of Axos Commercial Lending products and will gain insights into how companies operate and access various forms of capital. Interns will make meaningful contributions through various work assignments while developing foundational problem-solving and financial analysis skills.
Interns will also engage and collaborate with various team members across the organization as you work on projects related to key business initiatives, innovation and strategy, and/or process improvements that will help scale the organization. The opportunity is designed to build knowledge and experience though internal networking in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and analyze financial statements for various business units.
- Participate in various elements of projects to meet team goals by engaging with the right resources and building relationships.
- Complete industry research and analysis.
- Analyze and propose solutions to problems as assigned.
