Job Summary

Dominion Energy is seeking students to participate in our internship program.

This position requires the ability to provide expert and creative solutions to user problems to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity
Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via telephone calls, customer generated tickets or emails, and provide support on electronic services, in accordance with current standards
The position provides support for software as described in triage documentation and has proficient knowledge of Windows10, and Office 365
The position requires close coordination with all IT infrastructure and support teams

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize IT software programs
Must have strong customer service and problem solving skills; coursework or experience in PC hardware functionality, desktop imaging , network monitoring tools, Microsoft Office project support preferred
Proficient knowledge of Windows10, Windows 11, and Office 365
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have good verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently and as a team

Must live within a 30 minutes commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation

Education Requirements

Must be currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (ABET Accredited).
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Students should have an anticipated graduation date of 2027 or later.
