Department and Position Overview

FreeWheel, A Comcast Company, empowers all segments of the new TV ecosystem. We are structured to provide the full breadth of solutions the global advertising industry needs to achieve their goals. We power the technology, data enablement, and convergent marketplaces required to ensure buyers and sellers can transact across all screens, across all data types, and all sales channels, in order to ensure the ultimate goal – results for marketers. This team is part of the global product management group designing and partnering across the company to build and enhance the MRM platform. 

Job Description

FreeWheel is hiring a Graduate Summer Intern on the Product Management team. A successful candidate will engage with clients, engineering, marketing, sales, services, and other product managers, while helping develop the next generation of product capabilities. This opportunity offers the right candidate a chance to shape products in the FreeWheel portfolio and to drive the future of the video advertising industry.  

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify new product opportunities from industry trends and perform market/competitive analysis to inform product decisions and roadmap.  

  • Holistically understand core business problems and requirements from clients, prospects, sales and support, in order to invent efficient and useful solutions.

  • Provide input to the ideation, design, and delivery of functionality that enables FreeWheel clients to organize and deliver ads into their content.  

  • Partner with various functions including engineering, sales, marketing, advisory services, and client solutions to successfully position products and features for successful client use.  

  • Define and consistently measure quantifiable success metrics of products and/or features.  

  • Maintain a general awareness and understanding of the advertising/media operations and cable TV/content-providers landscape, including vendors, partners, and new dynamic web-advertising technologies.  

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.  

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to conduct market analysis and identify trends 

  • Ability to balance and understand input from customers, internal stakeholders, and engineers 

  • Enthusiastic, collaborative approach to ideation and problem solving 

  • Technical experience with internet technologies (preferred) 

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements 

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a relevant field at a U.S.-based college or university, with a strong academic record. 
  • Rising second year Master’s or PhD student preferred (graduating Winter 2026–Spring 2028). 
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)  
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026 
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs 
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation

Base Pay: $55.00
