Human Resources Benefits Intern

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Human Resource Total Rewards & Benefits Team. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of innovative professionals and contribute to Atlantic’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assist in Open Enrollment Preparation & Communication
• Create tools to learn of employee experience, for those utilizing employment benefits
• Testing User Experience for Ease of Accessibility  
• Participate in New Benefit Vendor Meetings
• Escalating issues as appropriate 
• Rotate between Benefits and Retirement team to assist with ad hoc tasks 

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
• Ideally pursing a degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a similarly related field  
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026
• Proficient with Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal) 
• US Citizen or permanent resident 
• Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
