Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
A summer research internship position is available in the Regulated Bioanalytical group within the Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, Metabolism, and Bioanalytics (PDMB) function of our Company's Research Laboratories. Our team focuses on advancing the understanding of clinical and preclinical immune responses to vaccines through innovative immunology-based bioanalytical techniques.
This research internship will last up to 12 weeks at our Spring House, PA site. This internship project is focused on examining vaccine-induced antibody responses using the Octet kinetic assay. The intern will assist in designing and executing kinetic binding assays to quantify antigen-specific antibody and their binding kinetics. The plan includes biotinylation of target antigens, immobilization of the antigens on biosensors, and analyzing antibody binding kinetics to the antigens with human serum samples. Additionally, the intern will play a role in ensuring accurate, comprehensive and contemporaneous documentation of procedures and data utilizing electronic laboratory notebook throughout this program and present data in a group meeting at the end of the program.
Key Roles/Responsibilities will include:
Design and execute kinetic binding assays to measure antibody-antigen interactions
Prepare samples and reagents for bioanalytical assays
Analyze and interpretate assay data
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook
Present your findings to the team during a group meeting at the end of the internship
Education:
Currently enrolled full-time undergraduate student in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related fields
Required Experience and Skills:
Must be available to commit to a 12-week consecutive internship between May and August 2026
Must have basic laboratory skills, including pipetting, reagent preparation, and equipment handling
Must have understanding of fundamental laboratory safety practices
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Should have prior exposure to immunoassays or related bioanalytical techniques
Should have proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Should possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Should have the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Should be detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
