The Accounts Payable Recovery Audit Intern at Apex Analytix plays a significant role in supporting the company's Commercial Audit Operations by assisting in the accounts payable recovery audit process and delivery to our Global 2000 clients. This internship offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in auditing and financial analysis.

 The Work

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document the relationship between supplier accounts receivable and client Accounts Receivable organizations to ensure the rapid identification and resolution of account credits.

This role provides hands-on exposure to the intricacies of Accounts Payable processes and offers valuable insights into optimizing financial systems. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, learning and applying best practices in the recovery audit field. This position will require data analysis utilizing Apex proprietary software, Power BI, Access and Excel along with exposure to different client ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and JDE. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a challenging internship that combines financial analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork in a corporate setting.

The Must-Haves - 

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field).
• Basic understanding of standard account concepts
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Willingness to ask questions real time
• Work welll with others
• Basic technical computer skills
• Ability to set priorities
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment while juggling multiple projects
• Familiarty with MS Office Suite; specifially Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
