Scope/Purpose of Position:
As an Admin Intern at Corning, your role is crucial. You will provide administrative and clerical support to individuals within our organization.

Required Education:
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Level program; preference for Business major
- Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Travel:
As needed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and manage complex meetings across multiple time zones, including team/group meetings, staff and department meetings, and external vendor meetings.
- Calendar Management: Maintain and update calendars for the team, ensuring all commitments and deadlines are tracked effectively.
- Event Support: Assist with coordination for events such as legal hearings, depositions, trials, lab tours, CIRG, CAMCon and the 50.75 Event with Archives.
- Document Management: Help store, sort, and track important legal files. You will also assist in deciding which documents to keep and which to safely delete or shred, following company rules.
- System Support: Use Onit, Corning's legal matter management system, to track and manage legal matters, and assist with BlackBook & Travel and Training tools as needed.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange international and domestic travel for staff, including itinerary creation and aviation verification.
- Scholarship and Awards Coordination: Support tasks related to educational scholarships, National Merit programs, and corporate jewelry awards.
- Change Orders and Reports: Assist in processing change orders and preparing periodic reports as required by the department.
- Sample Coordination: Manage and organize sample coordinating tasks to support team projects.
- Vendor and Purchasing Support: Work with external vendors and assist as needed.
This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
