Job Description

DataDirect Networks (DDN) is looking for Senior Sales Engineer - Cloud & AI ( GCP Focused) to help lead technical and strategic initiatives focused on developing and delivering joint AI/ML solutions with Google Cloud (GCP). This role bridges Google Cloud teams, DDN’s field organization, and enterprise customers to drive cloud-based AI adoption through DDN’s Data Intelligence platforms, including Infinia and EXAScaler.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture: Design and deliver integrated AI/ML and data management solutions combining DDN technologies with Google Cloud services (e.g., Vertex AI, TensorFlow Enterprise, BigQuery).

  • Partnership Development: Collaborate closely with Google Cloud architects, engineers, and product managers to align DDN’s offerings with GCP’s AI/ML ecosystem and drive joint go-to-market strategies.

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison with customers and field teams; deliver technical workshops, demos, and proofs of concept to demonstrate business value and accelerate adoption.

  • Technical Integration: Lead integration of DDN’s Data Intelligence platforms with GCP services for optimized AI/ML workflows, scalability, and performance.

  • Performance Optimization: Conduct analysis and tuning to enhance cloud efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization for AI and data workloads.

  • Content Enablement: Develop technical collateral, reference architectures, and field enablement materials to support internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years in cloud solution architecture, AI/ML, or data engineering (preferably with GCP).

  • Hands-on experience with GCP services (Vertex AI, BigQuery, GKE, Dataproc, Cloud Storage).

  • Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NVIDIA CUDA stack).

  • Strong customer-facing skills and experience collaborating with hyperscaler and partner ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to drive technical sales and solution adoption through innovation and partnership.

  • Cloud or AI certifications (Google, NVIDIA, AWS, Azure) preferred.
