Interns must be located in the Kansas City area for the duration of the 10-week program.

During the 10-week summer internship program, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with our experienced Store Sales Reps. You will spend your time with your “Mentor” learning the ropes and uncovering what it takes to be a successful Sales professional for Sherwin-Williams Consumer Brands Group.

Do you want to be a part of a team that never quits, welcomes creativity and is the world’s largest paints and coatings company in the world? If so, keep reading because we have an exciting opportunity for you. Sherwin-Williams Consumer Brands Group is offering a PAID internship for college students that offers hands-on experience in a well-known Home Center that carries Sherwin-Williams Retail North America Division's products, Valspar, HGTV by Sherwin-Williams, Cabot, Minwax, Purdy, Thompsons Water Seal and more. This opportunity could also lead to full-time career opportunities upon graduation!

Your summer will start off with a virtual Opening Kickoff event where you will learn all about the Sherwin-Williams Consumer Brands Group and be introduced to all of the exciting items your summer internship will entail.

While working side by side with your “Mentor” and other Sherwin-Williams Store Sales Reps, you will be introduced and begin to develop aspects in sales, analytics, marketing activations, training, Key Decision Making (KDM) exposure, business acumen and business communication. Interns will also be exposed to Sherwin-Williams professionals in a variety of functional areas.

After participating in all of these learning experiences, you may have the opportunity to visit our main office in Davidson, North Carolina where you can “Create Your Possible” and conduct a presentation on the exciting and new experiences that you learned throughout the summer.

We hope that by having you join our team for 10-weeks you get to learn, experience new things and potentially be offered a full time Sales Trainee or Store Sales Rep position upon your graduation.
