As a Junior Project Engineer Student, you will contribute to defining, documenting, and refining standards, procedures, and processes. You’ll also support the management and coordination of project tasks, helping the team deliver on schedule and quality goals. You will learn how Mechatronic product development flows from concept through to delivery and how to coordinate across technical, quality, and stakeholder domains.
- Develop and maintain documentation for standards, procedures, workflows, and best practices
- Assist in planning, scheduling, tracking project deliverables, milestones, and risks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Industrial, Quality, Purchasing, Operations, etc.) to collect input and ensure alignment
- Monitor project progress and produce reports/updates for stakeholders
- Help implement process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support training and onboarding of new team members on standards and procedures
- Learn and adopt project management tools and methodologies
- Participate in periodic reviews, audits, and process compliance checks
- Assist in change management: capturing change requests, updating documentation, and communicating modifications
- Be enrolled in an Engineering degree course at University or College level
- Strong interest in project management, product development, or systems thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to spot inconsistencies
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and working environments
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Proactive mindset, willingness to take ownership and suggest improvements
- Comfortable working in a team and collaborating across functions
- Familiarity with basic technical or software development concepts (coding, version control, systems engineering, etc.) is a plus
- Hands-on training in R&D Project management and product development processes
- Real exposure to the full lifecycle of a Mechatronic product development
- Mentorship from experienced professionals
