We’re looking for a passionate and curious Platform Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build and improve internet-scale infrastructure, tools, and developer platforms that power our products. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a real-world project and gain exposure to modern engineering practices in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to a summer intern project focused on platform scalability, reliability, or developer experience.
- Collaborate with engineers on the design, development, and deployment of platform components.
- Participate in team stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning.
- Learn and apply best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, and SRE.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience or Exposure To:
- AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab)
- Docker and containerization
- Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
Nice to Have:
- Interest or experience in AI agents or intelligent automation
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Exposure to observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog)
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a team and communicating effectively.
- Enthusiastic about building scalable systems and developer tools.
