Human Resources Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview
Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 10-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2026 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of Human Resources within a global investment firm. You’ll learn from HR professionals, gain hands-on experience, and build connections that will last a lifetime.
As part of our Summer Internship Program cohort, you’ll participate in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side by side with talented teams to learn about the business and contribute to meaningful initiatives that shape our people strategy.

Today’s HR teams rely heavily on analytics and digital tools to guide decisions around hiring, compensation, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. What you’ll do
Partner with cross-functional teams on impactful HR projects
Research emerging workforce trends to support future-focused initiatives
Use data analytics to uncover insights and improve HR processes across areas like Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Experience
Contribute to AI-driven efforts that personalize employee experiences and automate routine tasks
Build dashboards and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to support data-driven decision-making
Clean, organize, and analyze employee data to support projects in diversity, retention, and performance
Help streamline and enhance HR processes through automation and AI

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating by summer of 2027
Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related fields
A demonstrated interest in human resources and people strategy
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended
Preferred Qualifications
Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking
Strong communication and organizational skills
Agility in managing shifting priorities and thriving in dynamic environments
Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions) and PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation
Understanding of AI applications in HR (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics)
The salary range for this position is $35/hour.
