Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and driven Data Science Intern to join our research team in Sunnyvale. The intern will focus on AI/ML research for applications in ion chromatography data processing and instrument control. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in analytical chemistry. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and development of AI/ML algorithms for processing ion chromatography data. Develop and implement machine learning models to enhance instrument control and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can improve instrument performance. Document research findings and present results to the team. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and their applications in analytical instrumentation. Qualifications: MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field. Strong foundation in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB. Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Knowledge of ion chromatography or analytical chemistry is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $22.50–$38.50.
