Position Summary:
Ready to take your career global? Join the Rolls-Royce international engineering internship and be a part of a rewarding 12-week experience where you will gain a breadth of hands-on technical experience, engage with engineering leaders and contribute to real world project problem solving - all while immersing yourself in a new culture.
What you’ll be doing:
Participating in a 12-week Engineering Internship, through real-world assignments working on exciting and varied projects in an engineering capability
Using data, technology and AI to improve processes
Working under the guidance of an experienced engineer while also receiving coaching and support from mentors in the US and UK
Developing valuable, transferable skills through varied daily tasks and support from experienced professionals across the organization
Who we’re looking for:
Candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal, curiosity, problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Agility and open mindedness in your approach to work and career development
Ability to take initiative and be self-directed
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong verbal and written skills
Understanding how to interpret data and apply it to a decision or next action step as needed

To be considered, you must also be a U.S. Citizen. There is no visa sponsorship for this position.
This internship is funded by the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech through an endowment grant given to the selected students. All communications surrounding pay and auxiliary benefits will be presented at time of offer from each university.
