Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The Regulatory Data Science Service is part of the Operations, Process and Systems team within Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety. The Regulatory Data Science Service team employs Machine Learning, AI and advanced analytics and statistics to evaluate large business and regulatory datasets to drive predictive/prescriptive analytics, trend analyses and other strategic insights at all levels of the Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety organization. The insights and outputs Regulatory Data Science Service generate are used to provide key business operations support for resource allocation, scenario-based planning, and demand forecasting.

An internship in Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical SafetyBusiness Analytics will allow you to:

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will support the daily operations of the Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical SafetyRegulatory Data Science Service team to support complex analyses of large data sets. You will work closely with the Regulatory Data Science Service team with day-to-day operations, complete project-related tasks and assist with improvement initiatives. Some responsibilities include:

  • Support complex analyses of large regulatory and business systems datasets

  • Support tracking, analysis and reporting of resource effort in GTT time tracking tool

  • Assist in the planning and forecasting of demand, resources and trend analyses

  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting/visualization of key performance indicators (KPIs)

Required Education and Experience

  • Candidate must be pursuing B.S. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Technology (Information Management, Engineering), Analytics or similar field

  • Candidate must have the ability to work in NJ/PA area during Summer 2026.

  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Candidate should have strong data collection, analysis and reporting, Project Management

  • Candidate should have experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL

  • Candidate should have experience with DataIku

  • Candidate should have experience visualizing datasets with Microsoft Power BI, and familiarity with MS Power Platform applications

  • Candidate should have experience with MS Office (specifically: Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Candidate should possess strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills

  • Candidate should have demonstrated willingness to network, collaborate, and communicate across cultures, organizational levels and disciplines

  • Candidate should be a proactive and creative problem-solver that generates options, and makes effective and timely decisions

  • Candidate should have interest in managing, manipulating, and mining data sets, especially to support trend and forecasting analyses

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Salary range:

The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
