This Position reports to:

Key responsibilities

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creation of AI-based methods and tools to perform entity and relationship extraction from a diverse pool of (possibly multimodal) data
  • Linkage of information across different databases to ensure coherence and completeness
  • Enhancement of the quality of information by merging multiple data sources
  • Building Knowledge Graph augmented pipelines to analyze data from multiple sources
  • Creating methods and tools to maintain, validate, and continuously update an industrial knowledge graph
  • Performing evaluation analysis and results benchmarking
  • Continuously documenting and actively presenting your work to the involved parties

Qualifications for the role

  • You are currently studying Computer and Data Engineering or Data Science.
  • You have experience with NLP, graph technologies, and graph query languages (e.g., Cypher, SPARQL).
  • You know your way around NLP, Knowledge graphs, graph databases (e.g. GraphDB, Neo4j) and graph query languages (e.g., Cypher, SPARQL).
  • You have a good understanding of RDF, OWL, and graph data models.
  • You are experienced in working with Python-based RAG and agentic systems and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI).
  • You have experience with Databases (SQL, NoSQL) and Git as well as Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
  • You know your way around knowledge graph creation, validation, update, inference.
  • Ideally you have theoretical or practical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, particularly switchgears.
  • You are fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • You are creative and flexible, open-minded and proactive, with good communication skills.
  • You have an analytical and structured way of thinking.
  • You are motivated, friendly and able to work independently as well as in a team.
