HouseSmart Construction HR Intern
The HR Intern will provide support with a wide range of processes and projects for the HouseSmart Construction division, specifically providing support to the Orientation Program. Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality and timely HR assistance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with the development of an orientation program.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Help draft and distribute company announcements and internal communications.
- Assist in preparing HR documents and reports.
- Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to make sound judgments
- Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to connect and work within a team environment
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to job functions/situations that will change quickly
- Reliable and dependable attributes
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Effective computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Canva, and Web Browsing
Education: Pursuant of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.
