Salary Range: 23 to 26 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

We are seeking a Strategic Internal Communications Intern in our Broomfield, CO, Location.
We’re looking for a motivated, organized and detail-oriented Strategic Internal Communications Intern to join our high-impact communications team. In this role, you’ll help shape how employees across the company stay informed, engaged, and connected to our mission. You’ll work on cross-functional projects, contribute to compelling content, and help us drive clarity and connection at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of internal communication campaigns aligned with key business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across teams (e.g., HR, Technical, and Marketing) to gather input and ensure effective change management processes and messaging consistency.
  • Help develop and manage internal calendars to support content planning efforts across teams and departments, while building a scalable process to ensure consistency and ease of maintenance year over year.
  • Contribute creative ideas for improving communication strategy, employee engagement, and storytelling formats.
  • Track and report on communication metrics and engagement to help optimize future content and campaigns.
  • Assist in drafting and editing internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, FAQs, and leadership messages.

Potential Summer Projects May Include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline and unify internal communications programs and content across global teams.
  • Support the production of recurring internal updates, including video content or newsletters, in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Gather and distill employee feedback and channel metrics to help improve internal communication strategies and tools.
  • Assist with HR-related communications across the full annual cycle, including performance reviews, engagement surveys, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Helping maintain and update internal communication platforms to ensure information is accessible, current, and consistent across channels.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Graduating on or/after 2026 
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

WE VALUE:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with video production tools or willing to learn (e.g., scripting, filming, editing).
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset with interest in using data to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
