This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Product Design, Co-Op within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:
Assist in designing user-friendly interfaces for financial products, ensuring consistency with State Street’s design standards.
Support user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights from financial professionals.
Help create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to understand design requirements and contribute ideas.
Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the design system, including component libraries in Figma.
Apply basic principles of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy to organize complex financial data.
Learn and apply accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG) to ensure inclusive design practices.
Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows and attend design reviews and sprint planning sessions.
Explore emerging technologies like AI and their potential impact on financial UX/UI design.
Present design concepts and research findings to team members, incorporating feedback to improve solutions.

Education and Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should be:
Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in front end engineering or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation

Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
