Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA’s core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
This Marketing Intern position supports the Aftermarket Integrated Marketing team by helping to execute cohesive campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment. This role assists with developing marketing materials, coordinating content creation, and supporting promotional efforts that connect digital, event, and other marketing programs. The intern will collaborate closely with various departments to help deliver a unified customer experience, while gaining hands-on exposure to marketing planning, project coordination, and brand management.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour.

- Help plan and carry out marketing campaigns by working on projects that connect different channels like digital platforms, events, and promotional campaigns, making sure everything fits together and follows the company’s brand strategy.
- Work closely with different teams across the company—such as creative, communications, and sales—to gather ideas, share feedback, and support projects that bring marketing plans to life in a unified way.
- Research and explore industry trends to help the team better understand what customers want, what competitors are doing, and how to create marketing materials that stand out and connect with audiences.
- Assist with organizing marketing projects by helping track timelines, tasks, and approvals so projects stay on schedule, while learning how marketing teams manage details from start to finish.
- Lead and support efforts to foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture where everyone belongs.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June)
- Pursuing a Degree in: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration with a focus on marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and interest in integrated marketing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to research and summarize information effectively
- Experience as a Project or Team Lead
- Familiarity with Canva or other basic design tools preferred
- Comfortable learning new software and digital tools preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Creative mindset
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
