Job Description

AECOM Leading Builders Group is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in New York, NY.

This position is expected to begin in October 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Performs entry-level work.
Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
Must have completed 2 year of study in an applicable program

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a large general contractor.
Previous relevant internship experience.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
