As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Please note this internship is for 6 months starting in early Janauary 2026

About You:

• Studying a degree qualification in the field of business, finance & accounting.
• Good communication skills - fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Able to work in a team and ability to work under pressure.

What you will learn

• Gain a practical understanding of how hedge funds work including a range of different trading strategies from long only equity to multi strategy funds.
• Understand the full trade lifecycle of all different product types, equities, swaps, bonds, options, complex OTC products and derivatives
• Understand how hedge funds are structured and how investors subscribe and redeem from funds.
• Understand how Investment Managers charge investors , management and incentive fees
• Gain practical experience of working in a team environment, meeting deadlines, and responding to client queries.

Your Role: 

• Assist in the calculation and reporting of hedge funds’ clients NAV’s.
• Liaise with clients in relation to trade issues and/or corporate action issues.
• Manage verification of fee accruals in the accounting system in accordance with the PPM and/or agreed Fee Budgets.
• Manage capital activity recording in the accounting system.
• Manage verification of profit and loss attribution on each NAV.
• Manage calculation of performance/incentive fees in the NAV and their respective payment.
• Analyzing changes in funds’ values in relation to broader market fluctuations.
• Assist in the accurate and timely completion of the NAV to the client and third parties in line with the Service Level Agreement and the funds legal documentation.
• Liaise with Clients and or Auditors in respect of fund specific queries.
• Review funds details/transactions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist team members in execution of daily operational activities.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and audits as requested.
• Fulfill established departmental fund accounting processing procedures, controls and best practice documentation.
