This role is not eligible for sponsorship.As a Business Banking Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the growth and management of business banking client relationships. You’ll work alongside experienced Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Underwriters to learn how businesses manage their financial needs, analyze data, and identify banking solutions that help them thrive. This internship provides a strong foundation in business lending, client relationship management, and financial analysis.
Key Accountabilities
Support Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers with daily portfolio management activities.
Assist in reviewing and analyzing financial statements to assess creditworthiness and lending opportunities.
Collaborate with internal partners to identify and cross-sell products such as deposits, treasury management, and other financial services.
Participate in client meetings and relationship reviews to gain exposure to business banking strategies and customer engagement.
Contribute to preparing credit presentations, reports, and relationship summaries.
Research local markets and industries to support business development and client retention efforts.
Ensure client files, portfolio data, and risk documentation are accurate and compliant with policy standards.

Education & Experience
Required:
Current enrollment in a Associated or Bachelor’s degree program (sophomore, junior, or senior standing).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
Coursework or experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
Exposure to financial analysis, credit review, or client relationship management through coursework or internships.
