What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking hardworking and ambitious students to join our organization in an internship capacity during the summer of 2026. The Integrated Business Planning team within Pratt & Whitney includes functions such as Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, and Engine & Module Assembly. 

These professionals within the organization plan for material requirements in support of production processes, planning new engine assembly, and forecasting spare part requirements. Additionally, they are engaged in various processes facilitating the delivery of engines, the continuous improvement of processes, and activities involved in the Sales & Operations Process. They work both in the office cross-functionally, as well as hands on engaged on the shop floor, supporting operations.

This unique program led by experienced professionals will ensure that our interns are learning, mentored, and intertwined with the organizations they support by having substantial work and projects. The program provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career and provides us the resources to meet our workforce requirements for the future as the roles in this program are onsite, hybrid, and remote. We are looking for students interested in full-time opportunities in our Development Programs when they graduate.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Some SAP knowledge
  • Project management skills

This position is classified as onsite. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
