We are looking for aPrivate Placement Analyst for our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
- Support managers and analysts in investment decisions.
- Involvement in the selection of managers for private placements.
- Creation of portfolio management tools.
- Participation in numerous meetings dealing with different asset classes with your team and other teams at Intact Investment Management.
- Monitoring the private investment portfolio and its various asset classes (Infrastructure and Real Estate, private debt, structured products, and many others).
- Meetings with external managers to monitor the private investment portfolio and search for new investment opportunities.
- Learning several software programs (Bloomberg, Excel, and the Office suite).
- Execution of various special projects, including projects related to the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in investment.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or Finance and Economics, in progress.
- Internship experience (an asset).
- You are curious and interested in the field of investment.
- You have skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and partners.
- You have a basic proficiency in Excel.
- Being bilingual (French and English) Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country .
- You are available 35 hours per week from January 5 to April 2026 .
- Must return to studies in the fall semester of 2026 after your internship.
