How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The trainee will join the corporate Process Risk Management team from the Safety and Industrial System (SIS) Department in charge of: 

  • Supporting the effective management of process safety in our operations and contributing to the continuous improvement of our safety and environmental performance. 

  • Leading the process safety community, providing standards, guidelines, training, generic tools and methods (as Hazop-Lopa), advice and support to affiliates, and facilitating the sharing of lessons learned.

Missions 

To support our teams on a daily basis, we are looking for a trainee/intern who will  contribute to the following tasks:

Enhance Process Safety Reporting and Dashboards

Utilization of Microsoft Power BI to develop, maintain, and develop impactful data visualization tools.

This involves using existing Group safety reporting tool, the creation of interactive dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that facilitate a rapid and efficient understanding of process safety performance, benchmarking between entities as well as identification of trends and recurring scenarios. (The objective is to provide robust and current decision-support tools).

Contribute to the Analysis of the data generated by the reporting of Process Safety Events

Contribute to the interpretation of complex data to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement. (This analysis is essential for supporting and reinforcing the risk management programs implemented within the Group's various industrial directions by providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making).

Attend Monthly Process Safety Event Review Meetings

Participate in these meetings, which aim at understanding events and ensure data consistency.

Support the Creation of a New Internal Community Website

Contribute to the content development of a dedicated collaborative platform for the process safety community. The goal is to facilitate knowledge sharing, disseminate key information, and foster stronger connections among domain experts within the Group.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Bac+3 to Bac+5 from studies with an industrial background and a strong interest in data management and safety

  • Languages: French and English (minimum skills: written, reading and spoken to ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders)

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated and ability to prioritize 

  • Good verbal & written communication and ability to create trusty relations with the project stakeholders

  • Open and curious to quickly understand the Group organization 

Additional Information

Air Liquide has been awarded the Happy Trainees label.

The internship will take place in the Group's historical headquarters in the center of Paris at Quai d'Orsay. 

  • Geographical location: France / Ile de France / 75-Paris

  • Desired start date: January/ February 2026

  • Duration of the internship :6 months
