Ibotta is seeking a Corporate CommunicationsIntern to join our innovative team and help build our evolving corporate brand including positioning Ibotta as a performance marketing leader. As a participant in our 2026 Summer Internship, you will have the opportunity to fully integrate with your team to directly contribute to ongoing Ibotta business initiatives.
In addition to the daily time with your team, you will participate in ongoing teach outs curated to help build skills essential to transitioning into the workforce and building your career. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, excited to build and promote a brand using modern storytelling strategies, and want to be part of a mission-driven company.
This will be a full-time, 12-week, internship during the summer of 2026. This is a hybrid position located in Denver, Colorado and requires 3 days in-office per week. Required in-office hybrid days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Develop a system for monitoring competitor share of voice across various platforms to be woven into our quarterly and annual reporting. Utilize existing tools within Ibotta arsenal, collaborating across the internal (Social, Paid, etc.) and external (Ibotta PR agency) teams to paint a complete picture.
Create an annual editorial calendar of major retail moments for Ibotta to leverage for turnkey media opportunities (ex. Back to School, Holiday, New Year, New You, etc.); include data/insights for when topics are top of mind for CPG/retail marketers.
Research emerging topics in the world of advertising technology, CPG and grocery retail to utilize in proactive storytelling; include unconventional media outlets we haven't been featured in before.
Build a media list of reporters and outlets who cover founder stories in various formats (ex. print, digital, podcast, YouTube, etc).
Assist in executing social content - building briefs or coordinating content capture, sending proofs between teams for approvals and feedback.
Write social copy with our Corporate audiences (e.g.: reporters, investors, regulators, policymakers, clients) in mind.
Assist with reporting on key metrics and analyzing performance to inform content creation and strategy adjustments.
Assist in planning, writing and managing internal communications – including regular announcements and the weekly employee newsletter.

What we are looking for:
Juniors working towards a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
Proven ability to think creatively and implement ideas from start to finish
Good written and verbal communication skills
Hunger to learn and collaborate with your teammates
Familiarity with various social media platforms and trends to effectively engage audiences
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay and housing assistance for out of state students. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
The hourly compensation for this role is: $20.38 per hour worked. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market.
