The EMEA Telesales and Client Management organization is a team of different nationalities speaking more than 28 languages based in Madrid. Our teams successfully acquire and manage relationships with merchants in all European Markets.

The main objective of the Client Retention Manager colleague is to focus on account retention with  small and medium key merchants and  ensure business continuation collaborating across markets and Line Of Business’s ensuring full acceptance and engagement within the portfolio.

The intern will:

The trainee in OPC would support the Intercontinental sales and client manager OPC teams working on different missions such as : 

  • Understanding business hierarchy and identifying key market opportunities.
  • Learning to conduct business reviews for top-managed accounts, including industry trends, merchant activity analysis, and franchise plans.
  • Gain experience the team in deck preparation and meeting preparation identifying key contacts, preparing business reviews and participating in meetings.
  • Familiarise with market review, benchmark analysis in some specific industries, analysis of industry trends, competitors and payment landscape information research.
  • Acquire experience in coordinating with other teams' information collection for marketing, Know Your Customer, regulatory topics and consolidate information when needed.
  • Coordination along the the team, of other transverse projects within OPC team (to be defined)
  • Learn to support in Know Your Customer (KYC) data collection.
  • Gain experience in admin support in Franchises campaigns: check and cleaning of data, matching with current data base, hierarchy review, campaign reporting.

  • Autonomous and curious
  • Student in business School.
  • Willingness to learn about sales environment and support on admin task
  • Work in a multinational and multicultural company
  • Good sales mindset with strong capacity of adaptation
  • Fluent in English & German, Spanish desirable
  • Ability to work with data, good analytical skills and source of proposal
  • Strong communication, relationship and organizations skills
  • Good management of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel  
  • Positive attitude and proactivity

Hours: 20 hours per week 

For Recent Graduate Students:

Alongside your internship you will be enrolled on programme coordinated by Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE). This programme will allow students to focus on productivity, adaptive management and innovation, to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, collaborating directly on the management and optimization of commercial processes. The student will develop essential skills in project management, data analysis, and negotiation, which are critical for future integration into the labor market.

Toenroll the programme, the candidate must have completed the degree or due to submit the final degree project, or the final degree project plus 9 ECTS max.
