We're excited to introduce the Operations Intern position. This role is all about helping out with general office duties and running firm-related errands, making it a great opportunity to get involved.
Schedule: Half or Full days on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Adding Friday to the schedule is optional.
Duties
- Get acquainted with the firm's policies and procedures.
- Help with scanning, tracking, and filing important administrative documents.
- Run errands, pick-ups, and deliveries whenever needed.
- Keep an eye on the bank deposit bag and make deposits before 2pm if necessary.
- Monitor and maintain the coke machines and kitchen supplies to keep everyone refreshed.
- Take care of shredding documents as needed.
- Prepare and deliver bulk mail to the post office, ensuring daily mail is sent out by 3:30pm.
- Assist departments by supplying copier paper when required.
- Replace light bulbs and air conditioner filters as necessary.
- Handle confidential client matters with care and discretion.
- Perform miscellaneous data entry tasks as required.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Comfortable calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic algebra and geometry skills are a plus!
- Capable of juggling multiple tasks with ease.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
