Join the Business Enablement Team in Business Enablement team across GMNS continental Europe operations (the “Business”), within the legal entity American Express Payments Europe, S.L (“AEPE” or “Legal Entity”). 

The intern will support the team in key processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti Money Laundering (AML), data analysis, while also assisting in various internal controls and processes. 

Key activities will include:

  • Gain experiencein KYC and AML processes, in close cooperation with compliance teams, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Acquire experience in regulatory and compliance processes, information preparation for reporting and coordination with internal teams on regulatory requests
  • Familiarise withdata analysis efforts.
  • Learn to support with documentation.

The intern will:

  • Gain knowledge of a Multinational Environment with a Spain scope in EMEA market
  • Gain close knowledge of American Express products in Spain, specially in Merchant Acquisition.
  • Have the opportunity to work in the Business Enablement Continental Europe Team, dealing and learning from very different projects and having the opportunity to learn processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti Money Laundering (AML), data analysis from the Merchant Acquisition Business perspective.
  • Develop the ability to interact with different stakeholders inside and outside the company, data and content presentation, ability to navigate in a dynamic environment, ability to move in luxury and premium environments
  • Gain knowledge of American Express Colleagues ways of working

Desirable Qualifications/Skills and Experience/Language Requirements:

  • Currently studying law or business administration (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, communications and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement
  • Fluent in Spanish and English is a must
  • Proficient knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Power Point)

Hours: 35 hours per week 

For Recent Graduate Students:

Alongside your internship you will be enrolled on programme coordinated by Fundación UniversdadEmpresa (FUE). This programme will allow students to focus on productivity, adaptive management and innovation, to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, collaborating directly on the management and optimization of commercial processes. The student will develop essential skills in project management, data analysis, and negotiation, which are critical for future integration into the labor market.

Toenroll the programme, the candidate must have completed the degree or due to submit the final degree project, or the final degree project plus 9 ECTS max.
