Throughout the 9-week paid wealth management internship within the Wealth and Advice Solutions enterprise, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths! In this role, you will gain unique exposure to several of Schwab’s wealth management businesses, learning how Schwab seeks to transform lives through accessible wealth management for every stage of the client’s journey.

What you have

These postions are available in the following locations only: Indianapolis, Orlando, Austin & Westlake, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
- Have enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or university
- Have not already completed your bachelor's degree
- Able and willing to relocate at your own expense if relocation is needed
- Able to commit to working 40 hours a week for the 9 weeks of the internship dates of June 8, 2026 - August 7, 2026
- Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2026 - September 2027
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a financial planning program and/or on track to complete CFP Board approved coursework upon graduation
- Able to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems in order to proactively identify solutions to improve processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Resourcefulness and flexibility, who enjoy working through cross-functional partnerships and collaboration to achieve a common purpose
- An innovative and questioning demeanor, who constantly look for better ways to do things, have a passion for service, and seek to exceed client expectations
- Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills
