As an intern, you will play a critical role in identifying and resolving operational challenges while contributing to the innovation that drives our mission of scientific superintelligence. This position will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative setting, helping you develop a diverse set of skills applicable to your future career in science and technology.

What You'll Be Building

• Identify, categorize, and resolve issues related to automated Workcells.
• Troubleshoot software and electro-mechanical systems effectively, learning new technologies swiftly and documenting the processes for team knowledge sharing.
• Proactively identify potential failure points and lead initiatives to mitigate them.
• Develop automated processes or tools to help achieve Lila's goals.
• Collaborate on significant projects to gain practical experience and make a tangible impact, including projects focused on proactive issue identification, preventive maintenance, and AI integration into troubleshooting operations. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in a STEM field or a related discipline.
• Demonstrates curiosity and a strong hands-on approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Ability to rapidly learn and master a diverse array of technical subjects.
• Working knowledge of software principles
• Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and technical tasks, with hands-on experience with physical equipment and components.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration and communication skills.
• Adaptable and receptive to feedback, fostering growth and development in a dynamic work environment.
• Contributes positively to team dynamics, encouraging and enhancing the performance of peers. 

Bonus Points For

• Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis for issue identification.
• Familiarity with AI-based systems and integration into operational processes.
• Previous exposure to database design and flowchart development.
