The Software, Simulation, and Systems Engineering (S3E) Portfolio is seeking an Apprentice Geospatial Analyst (AGA) to support contracts centered on GEOINT data production for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. The S3E Portfolio provides geospatial intelligence support across a broad number of offices and agencies in the form of geospatial products, analysis, engineering and services.
Primary Responsibilities. The Apprentice GIS Analyst will provide the following:
Support in geospatial analysis of satellite imagery to perform feature data extraction
Interact daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups
Must have ArcGIS experience, preferably with ArcGIS Pro, and an understanding of cartographic products, photo interpretation, and vector data editing
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma with 0-3 years experience
US Citizen is required (no dual citizenship, no Green Card)
Entry level knowledge of GIS vector data, schema structures, and imagery exploitation
ESRI products including ArcGIS Pro.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geography

Pay Range:
Pay Range $30,550.00 - $55,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
