Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description

The HR Reward Intern will provide support to the Reward Solutions team at Cox Automotive, a team who leads transformational projects across the business. This position will assist with various analytical tasks related to the development, design, and implementation of pay programs, plans, and policies. The intern will gain hands-on experience in pay analysis and administration, contributing to large scale change projects that attract, retain, and motivate our talent.
PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in special projects related to pay programs and policies.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to determine the effectiveness and current state of compensation practices.
- Assist in conducting market pay analyses using published compensation surveys.
- Support the processing of information data reports, trends, etc.
- Help with project management, change management and communications activities.
- Assists in the preparation of proposals and reports using PowerPoint.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Minimum:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree .
- Basic competency in math, likes working with data and numbers, understands data collection and comparative analysis.
- Strong interest in finding answers to complex problems.
- Strong interest in research and data gathering.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Some experience in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups.) Some knowledge of PowerPoint.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
