Essential Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, architectural drawings and electrical code specifications
- Pulling cables and cable tray installation
- Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, control panels
- Install electrical systems and other related electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot, test and fix defective circuits and ensure their integrity and safety
- Willing to act as a mentor to apprentice Electricians
Qualifications:
- Must have a Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting on a live site would be ideal
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Work Conditions:
- 14/7 working 11.5 hour days, Overtime hours after 8 hours worked per day
- Travel allowance provided for those that are eligible
