Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary of Role:

The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Internship at Global Foundries will support the strategic alignment of supply and demand across our global businesses. Reporting to the S&OP manager, this position plays a critical role in supporting our overall supply chain transformation and is on a high visibility team.

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, analyze, and present data on demand, supply, inventory, financials, and capacity to support S&OP activities within the product lines
• Co-lead tool automation initiatives to streamline workflows and automate current process for efficiency across supply chain operations
• Own a continuous improvement project and work with cross functional partners for alignment
• Help transform the product lifecycle management process cross functionally

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, product marketing or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior related internship or co-op experience
• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
• Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning & organizational skills
• Preferred prior classes or internship in supply chain or product marketing
• Strong skills in analytics, problem solving and data analysis
• Strong attention to detail – ability to accurately manage, update, maintain large datasets.
