Throughout the 9-week paid Investor Services – Retail Experience, Strategy, & Risk internship, there will be inspiring opportunities to help clients achieve their financial goals through wealth management. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths! In this role, you will gain a unique exposure to Schwab’s Advice and Centralized Branch teams and learn about our proactive wealth management solutions. Our Investor Services RESR intern roles will be critical to helping achieve democratization of our modern wealth management offerings while driving scale and making it easy for our clients to do business with Schwab. What you have

As an intern, it’s not about what you know, it’s about what you are willing to learn. We’re seeking passionate students who are ready to own their Early Talent career and have the courage to ask “why”.

Required Qualifications

  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
  • Have enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or university
  • Have not already completed your bachelor's degree
  • Able and willing to relocate at your own expense if relocation is needed
  • Ability to work full time and be on-site at one of the Schwab locations during the 9-week program (June 8, 2026 to August 7, 2026)
  • Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2026 - September 2027
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics or related major
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with examples of opportunities you had to utilize those to achieve a purpose
  • Strong MSOffice skills particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Passion for learning about the Financial Services industry and the stock market
